Mike Mastroianni is President of MDM Consulting, a firm specializing in training, coaching, leadership development, planning, and Human Resources support.

A lifelong Rockford resident, Mike Mastroianni has a broad background in education. During his nearly 20 years at Rock Valley College, he lead the Business and Professional Institute, served as Dean of Community Outreach, Associate Vice President of Outreach and Planning, Vice President of Career and Technical Education and Outreach, and College President.

A servant leader, Mike has held professional roles as a teacher and trainer, small business owner, mediator, facilitator, and mentor-coach, and national speaker. He served on several Boards, including Fabricators and Manufacturers Association Education Council, Rockford Chamber of Commerce, Rockford Area Arts Council, Rockford Health Council, Rockford Area Economic Development Council, the Workforce Investment Board, Family Counseling Services, and Goodwill of Northern Illinois.

He has demonstrated success within Rock Valley College in developing and growing community partnerships that improved economic stability and quality of life. Through his leadership, the College opened RVC Downtown, and renovated the Woodward Technology Center to hold engineering classes in partnership with Northern Illinois University leading to a four year degree. Other developments include completion of the RVC Aviation Maintenance Technology facility at the Chicago-Rockford Airport, and the Health Sciences Center in partnership with OSF for BSN completion. He is co-author with Norm Dasenbrook of the book, “Harnessing the Power of Conflict: Leading, Living, Learning (3rd ed., Crysand Press, 2003)

Norman C. Dasenbrook, MS, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has over 30 years experience in the fields of mental health, consulting, coaching, teaching, business and alternative dispute resolution processes.  Norm has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling.  Through his consulting and coaching association with Crysand and MDM Consulting, he serves as an organizational consultant, trainer, and executive coach for improved performance and interpersonal skills for organizations. He is co-author with Mike Mastroianni of “Harnessing the Power of Conflict: Leading, Living, Learning (3rd ed., Crysand Press, 2003).  Norm is past president of the Illinois Mental Health counselors Association.  He is the author of “The Complete Guide to Private Practice for Licensed Mental Health Professionals”.  He maintains a counseling practice in Rockford, IL.  He is a mediator and collaborative law professional concentrating on family, corporate and work group mediation, and consults to numerous Employee Assistance Programs.

boboger8-16Harold “Bo” Boger,  MS/MBA

Bo Boger is President and Chief Strategist for his company, Leadership Innovation. Raised in a military family, at a young age, he lived and experienced European life. By his mid-teens, he moved back to the US, and Bo graduated from High School in Virginia, played professional minor league baseball, completed his undergraduate degree at Wesleyan College, and began his business career with Hoechst-Roussel Pharmaceuticals, where he consistently ranked in the top 5% of sales. He quickly moved to management positions. At Dunhill Personnel (NY), Bo served as in-house consultant, and developed business in their specific markets, trained staff, and created marketing and strategic plans for each business.

Bo joined a family owned business, the Franklin Display Group, and over the next 16 years, his leadership provided strategic sales leadership, and his management expertise helped the business grow from 4 million to 21 million in annual sales with consistent year-to-year profit margins. At that time, he earned an Executive Masters degree from Northwestern University, focusing on organizational communications and MBA.

Currently, Bo is a self-employed business-training consultant, who guides and coaches businesses and provides relevant and meaningful personal development and skill set development to their employees.

Jessica JonesJessica Jones

Jessica Jones, an accomplished and respected human resources professional, has more than 30 years of experience in human resources and management across multiple industries including the private and public sector. She brings extensive expertise to MDM’s clients with her knowledge of recruitment, employment, employee relations, policies/procedures, collective bargaining and benefit administration.

Jessica serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for a large Midwest community college, where she is responsible for employee relations, labor relations for three unions, recruitment, wage and benefits administration, supervision of her staff and all aspects of HR. She has also served as a Senior HR leader in the manufacturing industry and for the City of Rockford. When she’s not working, she is actively engaged in the community serving on boards and is a key advisor to a number of organizations in the region.

Jessica holds a BS in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University and an MBA from Thomas More College.

Beth HarpBeth Harp

Beth Harp is an institutional researcher. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Notre Dame and her Master’s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to her work with MDM Consulting, she worked with non-profit organizations to assess and improve volunteer engagement. She specializes in assessment, survey design and data reporting.

Chris BeckChris Beck – MDM Consulting, Atlanta Office

Chris brings significant experience in the human resources consulting industry combined with a background in senior level human resources roles, executive search and career transition/outplacement. Chris’ education includes a BS in Business Management with emphasis in Human Resources and MBA from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.  She earned her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification through the Society for Human Resources Management.  In addition, Chris is an ATD credentialed Executive Coach (credentialed through the Association for Talent Development; aka:  ASTD).

Chris has been active in professional and community organizations and has held Board positions with the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives (the Georgia chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives) and was an active member of ASHHRA (American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration).  She held the position of Board President for RASHRM (Rockford Area Society for Human Resources Management in Rockford, Illinois) and was elected to the Board of Trustees for Rock Valley College.  Her volunteer activity also includes participation on various not-for-profit agency boards of directors.

Chris BeckMindi Searle, MBA, SPHR

Mindi Searle is a mission-driven, business-centered human resources leader effectively leveraging critical strengths in collaboration, innovation, and resiliency. She has worked over twenty-five years in the Human Resources field with senior leadership teams transforming business culture and leadership behaviors. She specializes in organizational behavior and development intimately working with individual executives and teams uncovering hidden potentials and barriers to desired outcomes of the business through her company HRt Consulting, LLC.

Her strong ability to align human capital initiatives with the business’ mission, vision, goals, and core values was paramount to her success as Vice President of Human Resources for Fairbanks Morse Engine, a global division of $1.4B EnPro Industries. Prior to joining Fairbanks Morse Engine, Mindi gained considerable HR experience at Invensys, where she was selected to design, establish, build, and lead an HR Advisory Center providing centralized HR services for a multinational, $2B, engineering and information technology company.

Mindi Searle is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds a number of HR related certifications; her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts, in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor College and a Master of Business Administration from Queens University.

Mindi is a community service advocate who believes strongly in giving back to the community and world at large. She is an active Board Member for the Goodwill of Northern Illinois and served on the Transform Rockford Leadership Committee.  She also served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for neglected and abused children.
